MOVe!

Gyroscope was hired by Oakland Public Library to lead the community outreach and design of a mobile library for Oakland - the MOVe. OPL’s vision for the future included a mobile library that would bring resources to underserved communities beyond easy reach of the Library’s branches.

 

Far more than a traditional bookmobile, the new “library for the 21st century” is a custom electric vehicle, a unique and inviting social gathering place outfitted with tools, technologies, books, and education programs.
