In 2011, the Children’s Museum of Santa Barbara hired Gyroscope to serve as master planners for their developing museum in California.  Our scope of work included developing a Visitor Experience Plan to emphasize STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math + the ARTS) in a way that both fills an important need in the community, while leveraging research and engineering partners in the community.  

Gyroscope then went on to provide schematic design, final design, graphic design, and construction administration services for the emerging museum. In 2014 they branded themselves as MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation. The Museum opened early 2017.
