The Florida Children’s Museum (FCM) hired Gyroscope to provide planning, exhibit design, and graphic design services as part of a design-build collaboration from Concept through Construction Administration. The refreshed and reimagined FCM is the anchor institution in the new Bonnet Springs Park, leading the way in engaging Central Florida’s diverse communities through play, learning, nature, and culture.
Gyroscope designed five exhibit zones, both indoor and outdoor, packed with iconic and immersive visitor experiences. These include a giant alligator climbing structure, place-based imaginative roleplay, full-body music-making, and design challenges for creative engineering and tinkering. Each experience is specially designed to create new ways of engaging and discovering as children grow and learn.
