BIG LAB

Gyroscope planned, designed, and installed the Big Lab, an innovative learning environment as part of California Science Center's on-site public charter school. As a design-build project, Gyroscope oversaw all aspects of the Big Lab including serving as architect of record and buying and stocking fish in the Eco Pond. The Big Lab is used by the school children everyday for STEM experiments and data collection.  As part of the science center’s Amgen Center for Science Learning, the Big Lab provides high quality learning experiences for teachers, parents, scientists and other educators.  The Big Lab is located in a former historic armory building and has been featured on Iron Chef, the Discovery Channel and in several movies.
