LOOKOUT COVE

Lookout Cove is a 2.5-acre outdoor learning environment that inspires children’s curiosity about San Francisco Bay. The exhibit takes full advantage of the Museum’s spectacular site in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge, giving children a chance to explore a shipwreck, climb into the rigging at the Crow’s Nest, play with tidepool creatures at an interactive water table, come aboard a real fishing boat, and investigate site-specific artist installations embedded in the natural landscape.
