This study, conducted in partnership with the Chicago Children’s Museum, Civitas
and the Erikson Institute, was designed to identify the promising practices in informal
early childhood education.

The two-year project culminated in a workshop and panel discussion with several national
and international leaders in the early childhood field. The study and workshop were
highlighted in the Chicago Tribune(January 19, 2005) and in the March/April Museum News.
