Chuck Howarth joined the firm in 1993 at which time the name was changed to Gyroscope, Inc. Chuck was founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Science Center in New Jersey. From 1987 to 1993 Chuck built Liberty Science Center from scratch, including leading the planning team that created an original program of 60,000 sq. ft. of exhibits, launching extensive outreach programs, and providing overall management and direction.
Prior to Liberty, Chuck was Associate Director at the Boston Museum of Science where he was responsible for all public programs. Chuck received his Bachelor of Science from Dartmouth College and Master of Science in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire.
