Principal's bios

Ron Davis has been a Principal and Senior Exhibit Designer at Gyroscope since 2001. He has served as senior exhibit designer on a several major projects, including the Bishop Museum Science Adventure Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Chabot Space and Science Center’s Dragon Skies: Astronomy of Imperial China exhibit and the Chicago Children’s Museum SKYLINE exhibit. His current projects include the Tempe History Museum and the Fort Collins Discovery Museum projects, as well as the nearly completed Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey, CA.

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design Ron joined the experimental performance group Antenna Theater where he was the Associate Artistic Director. His work with Antenna included interactive walk through environments, masked performances and puppet theater mixed with new technologies. Ron’s work with Antenna was featured in the Smithsonian Institution’s Experimental Gallery, and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave Festival.

His work for museums includes creation of the ‘Earthquake Theater’ at the California Academy of Sciences.
